Well deserved and much needed win for the girls tonight.Really positive performance on a miserable night weather wise.Pretty even score wise for the first 10 minutes but a great team goal finished off by the ever impressive Sarah Muldon was what the girls fully deserved to finish the 1st half 1-6 to 0-3. Against a very strong wind in the 2nd half the girls controlled the game and never looked like finishing on the wrong side of the result.
More points scored from Eve Keogh,Ash Dev and a goal from Aine Gilmore after a great reaction from a rebounded penalty to add to her 7 points made sure we finished as well deserving winners.
Defensively also so strong keeping the opposition to 6pts in total so all round the gorls were very happy with their nights work.
Roll on next week's cup game v O Dwyers in Balbriggan at 7.30 on 25th May.
