Senior ladies in form v Raheny

3rd league outing of the year and the girls didn't disappoint.

Great team performance with our best footballing display of the year.

We scored first with a point from Aine Gilmore then Raheny responded with a couple of well taken scores to lead by 1-1 v 0-1.The rest of the half was dominated by Skerries but with a bit more composure in front of goal we would have scored more than the 1 score we got to finish the half at 1-02 v 0-2.

The 2nd half was completely different as we totally controlled the ball and took our scores with some great team build up and fine finishing .

Defense was also so solid in the 2nd half only conceding 2pts in the half .

We ran out well deserving winners in the end 1-4 v 1-8 Skerries to record our 1st league win of the season.

Roll on next week for our next league game at home v Templeogue Synge Street 8.30 throw in.
