u12s footballers take on a Bank Holiday challenge in Man-o-War!!

Harps u12 footballers took up the offer of a challenge at Man-o-War's
impressive home pitch experimenting with a 14 a-side friendly match in
preparation for next years step up to 15-a-side on full sized pitches.
Harps experimented themselves with representatives from their three teams
and continued the policy of trying out players in different positions and
all the kids enjoyed the experience.

Man-o-War were first out of the traps with a fine point but Harps worked
their way up the pitch against a strong breeze and following a goal from a
long range effort from Robbie Kenny, the Harps led for the remainder of the
game. Some great passing moves resulted in scores from Tiernan Wilde, Sean
Campbell and Eoghan Winters and the lads were reaping the rewards of great
efforts on the training field over the past few months.

Great defensive displays from Harry Archer, Adam Wynne and Rory Garland
withstood plenty of pressure from the hosts. Daniel O Driscoll led his
half-forward line with a mix of style and strength, with Robbie Kenny
feeding off the mighty Conor Nulty at midfield. Harps display delighted the
usual large fan-base that this group brings week in, week out - thank you
parents.

The full team that travelled was Eoghan Mc Donald, Harry Archer, Adam
Wynne, Cian Mullarkey, David Boyd, Sean Campbell, Daniel O'Driscoll, Rory
Garland,Tiernan Wilde, Paul Wilde, Eoghan Winters, Robert Delaney, Robert
Kenny, Conor Nulty, Adam El Shamy, Finn Chatten and Matthew Dooley.

Thanks to Man o War for hosting us in a very sporting encounter and we wish
them the best of luck with their new building development.
