The Club are delighted to announce that work on the New Clubhouse will commence in late February. More details on Harps website www.skerriesharps.ie. This project has been in the offing for a few years now, and the club committee thanks all the volunteers and members who have helped make this proud Day come to fruition.

An Information Talk will be held on Thurs 6th Feb in the Little Theatre at 7.45pm sharp. The title of the Presentation from John Murphy (former player) will be "Player Welfare- And The Role of the Coach ,Parent and Mentor" All mentors, players and parents of players are encouraged to attend this informative night.

The Club are holding a Clothing Collection on will continue till weekend Fri 7th to Sun 9th Feb 2014. Please bring all your unwanted Clothes and shoes etc; to the club Car Park between these dates and any morning over the next week and they will be accepted by a member of the club. Please Support this Club Fundraiser and clear your house of some Clutter at the same time. Full list of items accepted is now on the club website www.skerriesharps.ie. Congrats to Lyndsey Davey and Aisling Spillane on being appointed vice-captains of the Dublin Senior Football and Junior Camogie respectively for the coming season. Best of luck ladies.

Juvenile Academy continues on Sat mornings at 10am (football only). Contact Stephen GPO for more details.

Membership for 2014 is now due and rates can be found on our website. You can now pay your membership on-line. Early payment of Membership appreciated.

The Senior football team visit St.Pats (Stamullen) for a challenge on Sun next 9th Feb at 11am,and will open their league campaign on Sun 16th Feb with a home game V St.Peregrines 10.30am.

Gormanston Indoor Hurling/ Camogie tournament started back on Sun 19th Jan and continues until Sun 23rd Feb. Entry €15 per player for the 6 weeks. Contact Denis 086 8177965 for more  information.

Interested in playing Adult Ladies football in 2014? Any new or former players interested in playing can Contact Paul Donnelly 086 8431268. Training has started for New Season on Wednesday nights at 8pm. All welcome.

Adult (10pm)and Juvenile Games (9pm) Meetings  on Thursday nights have resumed.

The GAA National Club Draw has been launched and Tickets €10 are now available from all club Members. Great Prizes on offer including 1st Prize Trip to 2014 International Rules in Australia for 2, inc match tickets, airline tickets and accommodation. Note for Diary: The postponed Christmas Golf Outing in aid of the local St.Vincent De Paul will now take place on Fri 21st Feb at Skerries GC. Tee times 10am to 11.30am can be booked with Paul Murray 0851740474.
