The club are delighted to announce that work on the New Clubhouse will commence in late February. More details will follow on Harps website www.skerriesharps.ie. This project has been in the offing for a few years now, and the club committee thanks all the volunteers and members who have helped make this proud Day come to fruition.

The clubhouse will be open from 6pm this Saturday and with Dublin playing Kerry live on TV from 7pm a great night is guaranteed so why not drop in. Pints are always good!!!!!    

The Club are holding a Clothing Collection on weekend of Fri 31st Jan to Sun 2nd Feb 2014.Please bring all your unwanted Clothes and shoes etc; to the club Car Park between these dates and any morning over the next two weeks and they will be accepted by a member of the club. Please Support this Club Fundraiser and clear your house of some clutter at the same time. Full list of items accepted is now on the club website www.skerriesharps.ie. Juvenile Academy continues on Sat mornings at 10am(football only). Contact Stephen GPO for more details.

Membership and Player Injury fund fees are now due and may be paid online or to club registrar David Watson. See full details at: http://www.skerriesharps.ie/club-membership . Members note: The Mandatory Players Injury Scheme does not seek to compensate fully for injury but to supplement other Schemes such as Health Insurance.  Ultimately, the responsibility to ensure that adequate cover is in place lies with the individual member. 

The Senior football team will open their league campaign on Sun 16th Feb with a home game V St.Peregrines 10.30am.

Gormanston Indoor Hurling/ Camogie tournament started back on Sun 19th Jan and continues until Sun 23rd Feb. Entry €15 per player for the 6 weeks. Contact Denis 086 8177965 for more information.

Interested in playing Adult Ladies football in 2014? Any new or former players interested in playing can Contact Paul Donnelly 086 8431268. Training has started for New Season on Wednesday nights at 8pm.

Adult (10pm)and Juvenile Games (9pm) Meetings  on Thursday nights have resumed.

The GAA National Club Draw has been launched and Tickets €10 are now available from all club Members. Great Prizes on offer including 1st Prize Trip to 2014 International Rules in Australia for 2, inc match tickets, airline tickets and accommodation. All proceeds from Draw will go to the day to day running of the club.
