The playing season is fully up and running again with 27 Harps teams playing over last weekend so please ensure all Membership for 2016 is paid as soon as possible. Membership can be paid on-line on our website www.skerriesharps.ie. Social Membership available €50 and Senior membership (over 65) at €35. All other rates on website.

The McMeel's Pharmacy sponsored Senior footballers opened their AFL2 campaign with a superb victory over Clontarf 1-12 to 0-06. Also in winning form were the Ladies Minor footballers, who defeated Na Fianna.

Good wins for Moriarty's Supervalu sponsored U14 hurlers and the U15 Camogie team.

Juvenile Academy continues on Sat at 10am.  Club Shop also open on Sat at same times for club gear and equipment. Our On-Line shop is open 24/7- see link on website. Coffee and tea available upstairs.

Weekly meetings continue on Thurs nights: Juvenile 9pm, Adult 9.30pm.

The GAA 4 Mother's and others resume training on Fri 4th March at 8pm beside Main pitch. All new members very welcome.

Well Done to Lyndsey Davey with the Dublin footballers who beat Cork, Nice goal Lyndsey.

Gormanston Indoor Hurling/Camogie finished up last Sunday and again it proved to be a great event. Congrats to all involved.

The 1916 Skerries Harps Commemoration Group are running a weekend of celebration  of the Easter Rising on 22nd - 24th April featuring a Play entitled Nurse, as well as GAA games, Music, historical walks and a parade. An Exhibition in the clubhouse for which they are looking for help, by way of any memorabilia, mementoes or artifacts from the 1916 period for inclusion in the exhibition. Cheltenham Preview Night Fri 4th March at 8pm. Great Night guaranteed, All Support welcome. Panel Includes Andrew Lynch (jockey), Shane Shortall (jockey), Ado McGuinness (trainer), Dermot McLoughlin (trainer) and David Coughlan (Daily Star) plus special guest as MC. The Annual Cheltenham Tipster forecast: Club fundraiser on Cheltenham Races, entry forms now available. This is a club fundraising event so please support if possible. Entry forms available in clubhouse and from all your mentors.

The Harps Golf Society outing dates have been announced and are available on website. Harps Golf Classic on Fri 8th July this year, note date change.
