Congratulations to the Moriarty's Supervalu sponsored U13 footballers who won the Colm Cooper Tournament hosted by Dr. Crokes club in Killarney on Saturday. The team won all three group matches against the Hosts Castlebar Mitchells and Kilmurray Ibrickane before defeating St. Colmcilles (Meath) in Semis and then they overcame Corofin (Galway) to clinch the prestigious trophy. Well done to the players, mentors, helpers and families who travelled to Kerry.

Well done also to the Senior 2 Camogie team who defeated St. Oliver Plunketts ER to qualify for the C'Ship Final and now face St. Judes in the final. Also well done to the Senior 5 Camogie team on their Shield Final win. Final score Harps 4-4 Naomh Brid 2-5.

Hard Luck to Lyndsey Davey on Dublin's narrow loss to Cork in the Ladies All-Ireland football final. Big Thanks to all from Skerries who travelled in great numbers to Croke Park.

Those who applied for tickets for All Ireland Final Replay should be in clubhouse on Thursday the 29th Sept at 10pm for Draw or nominate someone to represent them. Contact Ger by text at 086-6032017. Those who are not lucky to get tickets can join us in clubhouse for the Big game from 3pm on Saturday.

The Academy continues on Sat 1st Oct at 10am. Register with GPO Louise 085-1465673. The Academy caters for boys and girls born in 2009/2011 and must be attending Primary School. Coffee available upstairs from 10am.

The Golf Society's Captains (Jack Curran) Day takes place on Fri 30th Sept at Skerries GC. Tee Times 10am to 12.30pm, Contact Paul Murray 0851740474. Entry €40 includes Golf and Meal in Harps clubhouse at 8.30pm and Presentation of Prizes afterwards.
