Skerries Harps Club Notes 23rd of April 2018

Well done to the Moriarty’s Supervalu sponsored Div 3 Hurlers on reaching the Feile final today Sunday 22nd and losing out by the narrowest of margins to Commericals. Some fantastic hurling played over the 2 days by this spirited young team. Thanks also to the Feile committee, Co-ordinators and parents who put in a huge amount of work into the hosting of the group stages on Saturday the 21st of April. 

Congratulations to the Senior Camogie Team on their league win over Castleknock on Tuesday the 17th.  The Ollies Place sponsored AFL6 ladies Footballers recorded a league win against Craobh Chiaran on Wednesday the 18th.

Adult & Juvenile Games Weekly Meetings continue this coming Thursday 19th Apr in the Clubhouse.

Zingo Result:  5-2-7-3-1-6-4. We had No Jackpot Winner this week but we did have a Dividend winner. Congratulations to Anne Dillon. Next week €1,200 Jackpot. Dividend €100. Friday the 27th of April, Music Night in the Clubhouse. Come and join us for a great night with a variety of music from a hugely talented group of musicians. Starts 8.30pm Cover charge €5 at the door.

Many thanks to all who attended the opening night of Skerries Theatre Group production of the Cripple of Inishmaan on Wednesday the 18th of April. A fantastic production and highly recommended - showing this coming week Wed-Sat at 8.15pm

Gambling Awareness talk for ages 12-17 takes place on Thurs 26th at 7pm in the Clubhouse. All encouraged to attend - parents and players. For more info reach out to your team mentors.

Harps Juvenile Academy Term 3 continues each Sat from 10am-11.30am. Annual Coffee morning in aid of St Francis Hospice takes place Friday the 27th from 10.30-12.30 in the clubhouse.

The club extends its deepest sympathy to the family of the Late Deirdre Lambe, Runai Na Fianna CLG. May she rest in peace. Deepest Condolences also to the family of Mary Flynn RIP.
