Senior Footballers remain unbeaten in Division 2!

Skerries Harps:  1 – 18;  St. Annes:  0 - 7.

Skerries Harps remain unbeaten in Division 2 following their 14 point win in Skerries on Wednesday evening last. Despite being without team captain and leading scorer Harry Dawson, Harps kicked an impressive 1 – 18 from play while all Annes  scores came from free kicks.

Skerries controlled the game from the throw in with Bryan Cullen pulling the strings on the ‘40’ always available to give and take a pass. His brother Graham marked his return after a lengthy injury by kicking 5 points as a sub while the livewire Stephen Smith kicked 0 –3.

Harps led 1 -11 to 0 -4 at the break, the goal coming from Colie Daly in 5th minute.

With the game as good as won, Harps were content to play out he second half against a rudderless Annes side that got all their scores from placed balls.

Skerries remaining games are home to Erins Isle and Ballinteer and away to Rd Towers and Marys.
