Harps Summer Camps a great success!!

Harps Summer camps, sponsored by C&T Supermarkets, were a huge success again this year with almost 450 children participating in our four camps. The final week, the Kelloggs Cúl Camp attracted almost 200 kids who participated in a week full of GAA fun activities.

Throughout the weeks had special guests coming out to see the children answer their questions and sign autographs. Dublin hurler Joey Boland was out during the hurling camp and was a big hit with the kids and gave them some good advice going forward. During the Cúl Camp we had Dublin camogie captain Gráinne Quinn and player Aine Fanning who came out and talked to the girls and gave out wristbands which went down a threat. To finish the week off we had Dublin football corner back Jonny Cooper (pictured)  who visited the Club to present the end of camp prizes and medals to the children and also spent an hour afterwards signing autographs and taking pictures with the children and families. Was a big hit also with some of the female coaches who also hung around to get a picture taken!!!

All in all it was a big success and a big thank you to all who help run the camps including Stephen Fitzgerald, Games Promotion Officer,  Johnny Beggs,  Avril and all the coaches who made it another successful GAA summer in Skerries. Roll on next year !!!!
