Skerries Harps will hold a Health & Wellbeing seminar on Friday the 4th of September.

The Seminar will be joined by a number of guest speakers who will talk about the catering for the wellbeing of our members and the population of the wider Skerries community. Questions and Answers about this work both in the local and national setting, as well as around our first action area, Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing will be taken.

This will be held in our clubhouse on Friday the 4th of September 2015 @8.00pm. All welcome!

This is a free event but due to limitations on space and the level of interest we would ask anyone intending on going to email harpshealth@yahoo.ie so as to avoid any disappointment. The above email address is the ONLY way to book your place. Under 18's must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian.

Speakers will include :

Iggy Clarke, Galway hurler 1970'-80's. Iggy has a degree in psychology and works as a counsellor in the evenings after doing his day job of teaching.

John Mooney, Irish cricketer at present. John will share his own personal experience of how he manages with depression and how it came upon him.

Emmet Haughien GAA Health & Wellbeing coordinator.

We look forward to seeing you there on the night and more importantly look forward to guiding anybody who wants more information about any of the topics discussed on the night.
