The GAA has confirmed the referee and match officials for the 2013 GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Final Replay on September 28 with James McGrath being appointed as referee between Clare and Cork.

This will be James McGrath’s second senior assignment, having previously taken charge of the 2012 Replay final between Kilkenny and Galway. The Turin clubman has also refereed the All-Ireland Hurling Minor final in 2009 and Bord Gáis Energy GAA Hurling All-Ireland U21 final in 2010.

Matches on James’s CV in 2013 include the Munster Senior Hurling Final between Cork and Limerick, Clare’s outing against Waterford in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Quarter Final and the Senior Hurling Championship clash between Offaly and Waterford.

Offaly’s Brian Gavin will be the standby referee with Johnny Ryan (Tipperary) as the other linesman and the sideline official will be Alan Kelly (Galway).
