Templeogue-Synge Street:  0 – 11;   Skerries Harps:  2 – 15.

Skerries Harps consolidated their top position in Div.2 with a 10 point win away on Wed night last.

Starting without 3 intercounty players – Bryan Cullen, Ross McGarry and Donal McIlgorm in addition to the injured trio of Colin Daly, Stephen Smith and Graham Cullen, Harps were still too strong for the home side who were without Denis Bastic and Eoghan O'Gara.

After playing into a stiff breeze, Skerries led 0 -8 to 0 -5 at the break with Reilly and Boylan controlling midfield and sub Cullen setting up scores for Dawson and Smith.

Two goals inside 10 mins from Sean Rocks in the second half left Harps ahead 2 -10 to 0 -6  and Rocks was very unluck to see another goal bound shot come back off the woodwork! Both sides traded points in the closing 15 mins. Skerries showed supreme confidence and patience  and always had time on the ball in this game which was expertly refereed by Chris Mooney.
